Once again the Bucs faced a dominating opponent, this time UC came to Mission Bay with a 7-1 record. For most of the game the Bucs held their own—despite having several key starters out or limited by injury. The game started with an onside kick recovered by the Bucs and a drive that had them first and goal, but the team had to settle for a field goal (their only scoring drive). Down 20-3 at the half, the offense was driving down the field to start the second half until a fumble killed the momentum. After that it was almost all UC. The final score was 34-3. LSKD, one of our key sponsors hosted the night with free hats and a hilarious halftime activity.
